Trans Maldivian Airways Welcomes “Manikufaanu”, The Third Seaplane Exclusively Dedicated to Sun Siyam Resorts
Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) is thrilled to announce the addition of “Manikufaanu,” the third seaplane exclusively dedicated to Sun Siyam Resorts, alongside its sister planes, “Kamana” and “Kanbulo.” As the latest jewel in the fleet, Manikufaanu boasts a fresh design that brings Maldivian culture to life through its unique livery, designed by Sun Siyam Resorts and brought to life with the expertise of TMA’s renowned engineering team.
The custom liveries featured on the Sun Siyam Resorts seaplanes incorporate intricate details and symbolic elements that reflect the rich heritage of the Maldives, offering guests an authentic cultural experience from the moment they step aboard.
While the seaplanes maintain TMA’s signature 15-seat configuration, the bespoke designs of Manikufaanu, Kamana, and Kanbulo elevate mutual guest journeys to new heights. These seaplanes transport guests to Sun Siyam’s stunning properties, including Sun Siyam Iru Fushi and Siyam World in Noonu Atoll, as well as Sun Siyam Vilu Reef and Sun Siyam Iru Veli in Dhaalu Atoll.
With the introduction of Manikufaanu, Sun Siyam Resorts and TMA continue their collaboration in delivering a seamless blend of luxury and cultural elegance, ensuring that every flight is an unforgettable part of the Maldivian escape.
